ACCESSIBILITY
Every woman should be able to step inside.
RAHAVENA exists to help women slow down and be cared for. That has to include women navigating vision, hearing, mobility, or cognitive differences — and anyone using a screen reader, a keyboard, or a phone in bright sunlight. Accessibility is part of the care, not an afterthought.
How we build
- A single, clear heading structure on every page, so screen readers can move through it.
- Keyboard-reachable controls with a visible focus outline — you never lose your place.
- Body text sized generously, with contrast chosen for readability rather than decoration.
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images and icons.
- Motion kept gentle, and never the only way to understand something.
- Plain language: short sentences, and no clinical jargon where everyday words will do.
We aim toward the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines as our working standard.
Where we are still working
Sound is central here
Sound baths and night rituals are audio experiences. They always sit alongside written guidance, and we are working toward a written companion for every audio piece so nothing here is audio-only.
Pages outside our hands
Checkout and payment are handled by Stripe, and some community tools are third-party. We cannot control how those pages behave, but we will always help you find another way through.
We are still learning
We have not completed a formal third-party audit. This page describes our intent and our everyday practice, not a certification.
Tell us when something doesn't work
If any part of RAHAVENA is difficult or impossible for you to use, we want to know — and we will work with you to get you where you were going. Reach us through the Help Center and tell us what happened.
